CONWAY, Shirley Lilian - Suddenly but peacefully in her 81st year at NYGH on May 17, 2026. Beloved wife of Dr. Robin Conway for 60 glorious years. They shared a beautiful life together. Loving mother and mother-in-law of Danielle and Michael, and Alyssa and Patrick. Dear sister to Irene. Dear sister-in-law to Howard and Barbara Conway and Stuart Levington. She was a devoted grandma and will be sadly missed by her grandchildren Henry, Willow and Brooke who were lucky to grow up around the corner from her. She was also a loving aunt to her nieces and nephews Michelle, Andrew, Paul and Mark and their families. She was a dedicated and cherished friend to many. She had boundless energy, a twinkle in her eye, and a smile on her face, especially when playing tennis, cards, or Mahjong. Her love, kindness, and zest for life will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
