Life & Legacy
WOLFOND, Melvyn - With profound sadness and immense gratitude for a life beautifully lived, we announce the passing of Melvyn Wolfond, son of Esther (z"l) and Joseph (z"l). For nearly 70 cherished years, he shared an extraordinary marriage with the love of his life, his devoted wife Pedie (nee Schneiderman). Together they built a home filled with love, kindness, laughter and unwavering family values - a legacy that continues through the generations nurtured. He was the proud and devoted father of three sons, Henry (Rochelle), Greg (Linda) and Chad (Lisa z"l) . A deeply loved Zaida to Serena (JB), Joseph (Sophie), Max (Erin), Maddie (Jason), Adam, Jamie (Sam), Annie, Dean, Oliver (Jasmine) and Ellie and a treasured great- grandfather of Cory, Jesse, Shelby, Abigail, Olivia, Winona, Sage, Hart and Robin. Beloved brother and brother in law of Arthur (z"l), Phyllis (Lou), Gerry (z"l) (Rachel), Shilly (z"l) (Laz) (z"l) and dedicated uncle, great uncle, and friend to many. Mel's greatest joy was his family, and he took immense pride in watching it grow and flourish. His wisdom, quiet strength, generosity, and gentle spirit will remain with all who had the privilege of knowing him. He lived a life guided by faith, integrity, compassion, and devotion to his family and community. His example taught us the importance of love, humility, perseverance, and treating others with dignity and respect. Though our hearts are broken, we find comfort in the countless memories he made with us, the values he instilled, and the enduring love that binds our family together. May his soul be bound up in the bond of eternal life and may his memory forever be a blessing and a source of strength for all who knew and loved him.
