It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our son at the age of forty-six on October 31, 2026 in Jerusalem, Israel. Loving son of Gena Dworkin Ray and Robert Ray, special stepson to Harvey Finkelstein, with whom he shared a very special bond that can never be broken, and his extended family, Tracy, Mitchell, Andrea and Julia Finkelstein. Loving partner to Sarrah Werrin, the love of his life and his true soulmate.Special grandson to his late Papa Norman and the late Ida Dworkin, and to the late Shelby Davis and the late Sam Ray, who have welcomed him and will take care of him.Sean was one of a kind, bright, funny, mischievous, full of personality and never quite predictable. He had a wonderful sense of humour and a unique way of looking at life, and a spirit that left an impression on those who knew him.His journey through life was not always an easy one, but he was so much more than his struggles.He will always be remembered for his great sense of humour, intelligence, his individuality, and the laughter and happiness he brought to our lives.Sean had spoken of coming to Israel to make it his home, and he more than once said he was going home. Those words have taken on a meaning we could never have imagined. He was in Israel, and his journey ended way too soon. He is laid to rest in a place that he had hoped to call home.He leaves behind a very heartbroken family who will miss him and love him forever.Forty-six years was far too short.
