Life & Legacy
ZEITOUNE, Makbouleh - In Loving Memory of Evelyne Rachel Makbouleh Zeitoune With profound sadness and deep gratitude for a life so beautifully lived, we announce the peaceful passing of Evelyne Rachel Makbouleh Zeitoune on July 4, 2026, at the age of 92. Evelyne was the devoted and beloved wife of Victor Chaim Zeitoune, with whom she shared 64 wonderful years of marriage. Together they built a family rooted in love, faith, compassion, and unwavering devotion. She was a loving mother to David, Aline, and Elliot, and a cherished grandmother to four grandchildren, Orly, Zoya , Justin and Jadon, each of whom brought her immense pride and joy. To know Evelyne was to know kindness. She was the pillar of our family-the steady heart that held generations together with unwavering love, compassion, wisdom, and grace. Her gentle spirit, generous heart, and selfless nature earned her the admiration of everyone fortunate enough to cross her path. Many described her as an angel on earth, always placing the needs of others before her own and offering comfort, encouragement, and unconditional love. Her greatest joy came from caring for those she loved. She was renowned among family and friends for her extraordinary pastries, lovingly prepared with the same warmth and generosity that defined her life. Her kitchen was a place of comfort, celebration, and togetherness, where every recipe carried a piece of her heart. Whether through a warm embrace, thoughtful words, a beautifully prepared meal, or a quiet act of generosity, Evelyne made everyone feel valued and welcomed. Her legacy is not only in the family she cherished, but in the countless lives she touched with her warmth, her grace, and her boundless capacity to love. She leaves behind a family who will forever treasure her memory and strive to live by the example she set. Though our hearts are broken, we find comfort in knowing that her love will continue to guide us, and that her beautiful spirit will remain with us always. She will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten. "A life filled with love leaves a legacy that never fades."
