Bernice Bernknopf (née Solomon)

Surrounded by her loving and adoring family, on Thursday October 15, 2026, at 89 years old, we are heartbroken to announce the passing of Bernice Bernknopf. Wife of Wesley Bernknopf for an incredible 69 years. Cherished mother and mother in law of Mark Bernknopf, Linda and Stanley Sculnick, Mitchell and Dolores Bernknopf. Most proud Bubby of Courtney Sculnick and Jon Zentner, Chelsea Sculnick and Ryan Lefcort, Benjamin and Madison Bernknopf. Very special “Other Bubby” (great grandmother) of Billie and Ruby Lefcort. Sister of Eileen Lemansky and Norton Solomon, and sister-in-law of Butch (Gilbert) and Sandra Bernknopf, and Roslyn and Sam Grossman. Daughter of the late Fay and the late Max Solomon, and daughter in law of the late Mae and the late Emanuel Bernknopf.Bubby Bernice was the heart and matriarch of our family, and truly one of the most special people we will ever know. Her family was her greatest pride, and the love she had for each of us was immeasurable. She meant more to us than words could ever express, and we feel incredibly lucky to have been loved by her.Funeral service from Paperman and Sons, (address not shown), on Sunday, October 18, 2026.
