Great Grandmother to Emily, Nick and Nate Payne, Alexander, Liam and Abby Bond. Sonny was a special lady both beautiful inside and out. A class act. A fabulous cook who hosted many traditional dinners. A loving, loyal mother, grandmother, aunt and dog bestie. Sonny always put everyone else ahead of herself doing without if need be. She was always there to lend a helping hand and offer advice whether you wanted it or not. A unique person; one of a kind who gave so much to so many. Special thanks to her devoted caregiver Susan who looked after Sonny for over 5 years along with daughter Elayne who shared the care giving and helped extend her life. Deep gratitude to Fre, the kind and compassionate nurse who gave exceptional care to Sonny during her short stay at Baycrest Hospital. We are extremely grateful to Dr. Harleen Toor, Chondra and all the nursing staff who were there always to help with caring compassion. Also, a big thank you to Dr. Anand Sinha, his wonderful team and Amy Lam at North York General Hospital.
