Murray Shiner

SHINER, Murray David - October 14, 1939 - July 13, 2026. Passed away peacefully in his "condo" which we called his home at Baycrest Apotex. Murray David Shiner, beloved son of the late Sam and Bella. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Lila and the late Allan Weiss, and Beverley Siskind and Arthur Caplan. Loving husband to Joan (Joanie) of 60 years. Devoted father of Michael Shiner and Allison Fox, and Cory Shiner and Narah Lipkus. His grandsons whom he adored and wanted to take everywhere, Benjamin, Henry, Isaac, and Samuel but dementia unfortunately spoiled those plans. Murray never said my nieces and nephews, they were always "ours" so to them, the great nieces and nephews and great great nieces and nephews, hugs and love. You all know who you are, the Rohers, Days, Littledale, Obadia, Goldstein, Weiss, and Weitz families. Friends from teen years and still today, people from all over. He loved everyone, loved watching sports and as you all know, had a passion and love for clothing and fashion. Thank you to everyone for loving Murray and being part of his life. He truly loved everyone! A final thank you to all the amazing staff at Baycrest Apotex 7EI. You were all truly amazing friends and family while Murray was in your care.
