Jeanette Wiseman (née Hans)

CWAC Canadian Woman’s Army Corps, and Longtime Attendée of McGill Community for Lifelong Learning.Peacefully, on Wednesday, August 26, 2026, in her 106th year. Beloved wife of the late William. Cherished mother and mother-in-law of Charles and Ma’nee Wiseman, Nancy Ormond and Dennis Ryan. Proud and loving “Gram” of Jamie Ormond and Evan Cohen, Brooke and Michael Calabrese; Samara Wiseman; and Great-Grandmother of Libby, Andrew, Kai, and Zora. Predeceased by her siblings and their spouses Alan and Betty Hans, Sherman and Judi Hans, Diane Gillman, and Hazel Novick. Jeanette will also be missed by Denis’s children Jeff and Carolyn Ryan, and Carey and Scott Berry; and grand-children Garrett, Leo and Nicholas. She will be lovingly remembered by her nieces, nephews, family and friends.
