Rozsa Adler (née Jakabovits)

Holocaust SurvivorPeacefully, with her family by her side, on Saturday, November 7, 2026, at the age of 92 years.Rozsa was born in Nagykálló, Hungary, on January 29, 1934, to her mother, Elizabeth Jakabovits. Rozsa’s dad, Sandor, passed away a few months before Rozsa was born. Rozsa was predeceased by her husband, Miklos (Mike) Adler. She will be sadly missed, and her memory forever cherished, by her children, Sandor and Robert, and her grandchildren, Seth and Jordyn, who were the love and light of her life. “Rose” loved to sing Hungarian songs and recite Hungarian poetry. She will always be remembered as someone who loved to regale her friends with colourful stories that made everyone in the room laugh out loud.Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, (address not shown), on Wednesday, November 11, at 11:00 a.m. Burial at the Congregation Zichron Kedoshim Cemetery, Beth Israel and Samuel Section, de la Savane.
