Ray (Rena) Gossack (née Greenspoon)

Peacefully, on her own terms, on Sunday, October 18, 2026 at the age of ninety-seven. Cherished wife of the late Israel (Sunky) for sixty-eight years. Devoted mother of Hildie, Arthur, and Laury Gossack. Adored grandma Rena of Mitchell and Julie Miller, James and Alison Miller; Andrew Gossack, Nicolas and Jo Gossack. Treasured great-grandmother of Josh, Sophie, and Sydney Miller; Aidan, and Nate Miller. Predeceased by her sister Ida (Otty) Shaffer; and by Sunky’s siblings P.J. and Larry Gossack, Norma and Kenny Gossack, Fred and Corinne Gossack, Syl (Solomon) and Annette Gossack. She will be greatly missed by family and friends. Very special thanks to her caregivers Josie, Junie, and Jackie for their compassion and understanding. Ray’s family would like to acknowledge with sincere gratitude Dr. Jeff Segal, the Palliative care team at St. Mary’s hospital, and the staff at the Vista Residence for their care.
