Shirley Shapiro

Shirley Shapiro - 01/13/1938 -05/02/2026. In loving memory of Shirley Shapiro, beloved wife of the late Marvin. Mother of Tina, and Steven. Sister of Leonard, and Judy. Aunt of Mike, Herschel, Zvi, Tova, and Ilan. Good friend to many. Shirley grew up in Toronto, lived with her family in Montreal, then came back with her family to Toronto. Her career spanned being an elementary school teacher, making educational films for the NFB, being a Counsellor, and an investigator for the College of Physicians and Surgeons. Shirley will be so fondly remembered for her warmth, her sense of humour, her creativity and decorative sense, being a strong supporter of Israel, and her love of nature and animals.
