CROTIN, Jeffrey - It is with profound sadness that Elizabeth and Manny Crotin announce the sudden passing of their beloved son, Jeffrey Michael Crotin, in his 63rd year on Monday, March 11, 2026. Jeffrey was the dear brother and brother-in-law to David and Nathalie, Jamie and Andy, and Harrison and Janice. Uncle to Ava, Emma, Kolya, Mila, Benjamin and Max Crotin. Nephew to Helen Gurofsky and Alan Connors, Paul Gurofsky (predeceased) and Faye and Charlie Mendelson (predeceased). Cousin to Evie and Scott Miller. Howie and Tina Mendelson, Alan Mendelson and Esther and Alan Connors. Jeffrey was born with many rare gifts and a remarkable intelligence which allowed him to pursue his many interests. He had a particular love of Astro Physics that came to light when he would discuss his latest theories with his father. Books were an important part of his being, and he rarely was without one. He had collected a formidable library relating to many of his interests, but the ones that he was the most proud of were those written by the renown physicists such as Stephen Hawking. His reverence for them had a great influence on the way he lived his life. He loved discussions with challenge. One of his favourite topics was world politics, particularly "The State Of Israel". Jeffrey was a very private person though he always looked forward to visits to his parent's home where he slept in his childhood bedroom and enjoyed the familiar kitchen smells wafting up to his room. At these times, he thrived on the familiar routines which were etched into his psyche from childhood. For those who knew and loved him, Jeffrey's death will create a great void.
