Leon Kieselstein

KIESELSTEIN, Leon - Passed peacefully on Sunday August 17, 2025 surrounded by family at Mackenzie Health. He was the beloved husband to Frannie for 55 years. He was the loving father to Michael and Shawna, and Matthew and fiance Jen Goldberg. He was the proud and devoted Zaidy Leon to Grace and James. Leon was a wonderful brother-in-law to Pam Duschinsky and the late Andy Duschinsky. He was the adored uncle to the late Daniel Duschinsky. Leon worked tirelessly and fervently with many Jewish organizations. From supporting the needs of wounded Israeli soldiers through Beit Halochem, garnering funds for the purchase of scooters for Hatzola (EMS), to raising funds for the purchase of medical equipment for Baycrest and many small Ontario hospitals, and serving as president of the Reena Foundation which raises funds to improve the lives of people with Autism and other developmental disabilities. He was a good man with a kind heart. May he rest in peace.
